NSM Energy's structural engineering team specializes in designing structures that can withstand harsh ocean environments. We create 3D computer models backed by structural analysis to engineer dockyards, wharves, jetties, seawalls, marinas, offshore platforms, submarine pipelines and cables, intake/outfall systems, and related infrastructure to meet specific purposes and site conditions.
Our experts handle permitting processes and ensure compliance with relevant environmental, maritime, building code, and other regulations from project conception through execution and post-construction monitoring. We also perform environmental impact assessments.
NSM Energy provides turnkey dredging services involving underwater excavation and navigational channel creation to support new marine construction projects and maintain existing waterways and harbors. We also execute land reclamation projects for waterfront development.
We salvage ships, oil rigs, machinery, and other assets that have sunk or become damaged by utilizing diving teams, heavy lift equipment, patching and stabilization techniques, hazardous waste remediation, and more. Salvaged materials can be refurbished and reused.
Our crews utilize diving bells, underwater welding equipment, and other specialized techniques to carry out subaquatic tasks like infrastructure installation, pipeline/cable laying, foundation construction, inspection, and repair work on pilings, docks, intakes/outfalls and other waterfront facilities.
NSM Energy's fabrication shop and marine construction yard provide expanded onshore construction capabilities. Our versatile cranes and derrick barges facilitate offshore heavy lifts and equipment integration. We fabricate platforms, buoys, sluice gates, sheet piles, and various customized components.
We maintain extensive oil spill response capabilities including containment booms and skimmers, dispersant application equipment, in-situ burning knowledge, remediation techniques, and more to rapidly respond when accidents occur offshore or in ports.
